I have previously wrote a review only because I didn't know how to get in touch with the corporate office so I thought of you review on Yelp explaining my experience with their security guard. I had absolutely no problems with the melt in general, their food is excellent and I'm so glad that I'm able to go back again. I've been going there for 8 years religiously at least twice a week, besides the problem that I had with the security guard who does not work for the melt, I have absolutely no problem with them and their food is absolutely to die for. I'm posting this because I don't know how to delete my other post so I will keep trying but for now here you go.

I wanted to order online to pick up because I had a dog with me. I signed up to get the free fries, (it said it would be available to redeem at checkout) but when I tried to check out it would not register the free fries. I called to inquire and was told I had to redeem it in the store (said it was redeemable with online order when I signed up) I told the guy I had a dog and that's why I was trying to order online. He said I can call back and they could bring it out but it would be ok to bring the dog. So I went in to order. I told the sir at the register about my fries and he said I had to download the app. So I stepped to the side and downloaded the app. He was able to redeem it. There was very little wait time. I ordered the double melt burger and redeemed Garlic Parm fries. I ask for lettuce and tomato but it had pickles (I like pickles so I didn't mind but I didn't ask for them). The burger was good. My bottom bun was really soggy but that comes with the fixings. The fries were just ok. And greasy but they were free so.... Overall I would go here again if I wanted a filling, cheesy burger. I would probably skip the fries and just get a burger. Side note I'm not from San Francisco so I did not know they had an extra charge (SF Employer Mandates??) my bill showed 80 cents.

The best kind of nostalgic fast food. Not quite four stars, but let's round up. Eating Great fries. Add mushrooms to your sandwich. The strawberry lemonade is pretty good.

Great late night spot in San Francisco. The restaurant is really large with a ton of seating. The. Bbq cheeseburger and spicy chicken sandwich were so good and really hit the spot at 2am. The garlic Parmesan fries are a must try. I also tried the jalapeño Mac and cheese and it was delicious. The staff were super nice and even gave us a free shake for posting a review. I would highly recommend this spot.

Easy accessible late night food that will satisfy your cravings! They're open until 3 am every day. The entrees average about 12 dollars each and I find that the mac and cheeses are much more filling than the burgers/sandwiches and have a lot more flavor too. We ate in store and occasionally some disruptive customers would come in, but overall the store is quite clean with lots of seating. Tip: you have to request for veggies on your burger (free of charge).
